What VeloStats does

Status & versions

Current version 1.8.1 — in internal testing

Recently in VeloStats

Version 1.8.0

  • My Bikes — your garage: import bikes from Strava or capture them by photo; Velo automatically tracks the kilometres per bike.
  • Bike by photo: the AI recognises the model and components from the image and suggests the usual build variants — you confirm step by step.
  • Tyre-pressure calculator (Berto 15% formula, the basis of SILCA) and torque values with a schematic showing where each bolt sits.
  • Export workouts as .fit (Garmin) or .zwo (Zwift/Karoo) — plus a path via intervals.icu.

Version 1.7.1

  • Explorer tiles — requested via feedback: the world in tiles of about 1.7 km, every ride with a Strava route explores new ones. With a total count and max square on the overview.
  • Full-screen map of your own territory: all explored tiles as a semi-transparent grid.
  • New, changed and deleted Strava rides usually appear right away — without waiting for the daily sync.

Version 1.7.0

  • Weekly coach in the Form tab: one concrete recommendation for the week — with an expandable rationale showing which numbers led to which rule.
  • Guided 20-minute FTP test with pacing tips and export to Apple Watch or Garmin; the result can be applied directly.
  • Share charts as an image: FTP history, form history and the records power curve.
  • Optionally write FTP to Apple Health so other apps can read it — off by default.

Version 1.6.3

  • Breaks count correctly: best values after a stop flow back into curves, FTP and records.
  • Rides return reliably — for example after disconnecting and reconnecting Strava, toggling e-bike, or a reset.
  • Expanded feedback area: categories, follow-up questions, screenshots and visible replies — with a notification if you want one.
  • Clearer wording and consistent spelling throughout the app.
